Digital technology has shortened attention spans, say some experts, to just eight seconds. Combined with information overload, this may make us more forgetful. “Reduce this overload, and you may have an easier time committing new ideas to memory, and keeping them there,” says The Dana Foundation.

Combatting information overload will take practice, but there are some simple steps you can take, as outlined in this short video.
