A Toast to 2022 and the Future of Animal Welfare

Grateful to be here with you to wrap up another year, and to share a toast for the year ahead. Thank you to The Association’s Jim Tedford and Joann Fuller of Hill’s Pet Nutrition for providing the bubbly convo and ringing us in to 2022.

The pair tag-teamed on the toast on the final day of Looking Forward: The Future of Animal Welfare virtual conference, which took place earlier this month:

May the year ahead bring peace and prosperity for animal welfare professionals everywhere.

May animals thrive in their communities, and may those in need find the comfort and shelter they so richly deserve.

May the road to a more diverse, equitable and inclusive animal welfare profession lead to deeper understanding and acceptance and progress for all people engaged in our important work, and to equitable delivery of services to all the communities who need it.

And as leaders, may we all continue to innovate and build bridges of collaboration amongst ourselves, finding greater strength and impact by working together.

Cheers to you, and cheers to the future of animal welfare.
