In a few weeks we’ll be together at The Spring Conference for Animal Welfare, and we’ll have lots to talk about. We’ve put together a networking event for the first day that’ll really get the convo started. Joe Lisella, Executive Director at Animal Protective Foundation and member of the conference committee, invites you to Tick Tock Talk on Wednesday, June 15, from 2:30 to 4pm.
This 90-minute event will be divided into three timed sessions with tables set up by Roles, Regions, and Industry Trends. When you hear the timer (in this case, a cowbell…yes, we went there), you’ll take your seat at the next table and dive into a discussion with your colleagues.
Like Joe explains, Tick Tock Talk is “like speed dating, where you can meet people who have the same role as you, are from the same geographic region, or facing the same challenges you are.” The latter will include Veterinary Shortage, Access to Care, and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion.
Of course, you gotta be at the conference to be part of this IRL event. Haven’t registered yet? The hotel is filling up, but there’s still time left to make your plans and join us in Chicago on June 15-17. Details here.
