What comes to mind when you think of the future of animal welfare? What are your hopes and dreams for the profession? What lies ahead for the communities we serve?
If you’re like The Association’s President and CEO, Jim Tedford, there’s a lot to look forward to. “The progress we have made over the past 40 years or so will be eclipsed by the progress we will see over the next 10-20 years,” he recently shared in his Thanksgiving message. “Remember that song in the ’80s, ‘The future’s so bright, I gotta wear shades’?”
That’s where you come in. We’re less than 2 weeks out from Looking Forward: The Future of Animal Welfare virtual conference, and in keeping with our new tradition, we need to build a playlist together. While the 80s may rule, songs from all decades, genres, styles, and artists are welcome. Show us what you got, and get ready to rock it this December 7-9.
