$400K In Funds Available: Apply by 6/2 for Hill’s Disaster Relief Grants

Applications open now through Tuesday, June 2, at 11:59 PM ET

Has your shelter been impacted by COVID-19? With a long history of supporting animal shelters, Hill’s Pet Nutrition has partnered with The Association to provide financial assistance to agencies in the U.S. and its territories supporting the following key areas:

  • Adoption programs
  • Foster programs
  • Veterinary care for in-shelter and foster pets
  • Operational expenses
  • Community support

$400,000 will be dispersed in grants ranging from $2,500 to $15,000 and will be paid out by August 31, 2020. Don’t delay! See the eligibility requirements here and start your application as soon as possible. Note, the application will save your progress as you go, so as long as you return to the application link using the same browser and device, you’ll be able to edit and complete it at a later time.

Support for Canada

Hill’s has also partnered with Humane Canada to provide $80,000 in assistance to Canadian shelters. This opportunity offers the same size grants and has the same deadline as its U.S. counterpart. Canadian organizations should review the eligibility requirements and apply here.

Note: To complete the application, you will be asked to provide your annual data. Shelter Animals Count members can simply submit a copy of their 2019 Annual Data Reports; non-members will be asked to complete additional Qs regarding their data. If you’re not yet a member of Shelter Animals Count, you can register here.
